Rise up and never settle for defeat. (Advertising Age)
Every great accomplishment in
life comes from the power of thought. They are first conceived in the
mind and later reflected into actions. To some, it might be the thought
of pain, disappointment, guilts and shame or better still, love, faith
and hope. All these thoughts arise due to accumulation of individual
experiences which can either be negative or positive.
Your
thought is the centre of your life; it has the ability to control your
thinking, your response to situations and the drive towards taking
responsibilities. Once your mind is filled with negative emotions,
thinking things or situations cannot get better as expected, then you
are just starting or you are driving yourself to the land of
impossibilities .
Actions when taken, even when
situations around aren't smiling, is a sure hope that you will have a
safe landing by constant practice. Making the same mistake over and over
again isn't a good starting point for any accomplishment; but the
ability to correct, improve and change your negative approach towards
situations.
Napoleon Hill remarked "Millions of
people believe themselves 'doomed' to poverty and failure, because of
some strange force over which they believe they have no control . They
are the creators of their own misfortunes because of this negative
belief which is picked up by subconscious mind and translated into its
physical equivalent."
You must desire to see things differently, positively and hopefully. Whatsoever you conceive in your mind, you can achieve it.
Our
greatest limitations are those we set up in our minds. For a great
change to happen in any nation, it must start from within. You must have
a contributing mindset, thinking about how you can contribute to
national development, turning your pain to gain- seeing possibilities
and understanding the fact that your affliction is not a liability but
an asset of great value.
Considering yourself as an asset is a mindset, a thought of hardwork, resilience and excellence.
Rise
up and never settle for defeat. The man in the mirror is great; rise up
and start thinking of how you can impact your world positively starting
with your immediate environment.
