PML-N MNA Bilal Virk joins PTI


 LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MNA from Sheikhupura Bilal Virk joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday.
The lawmaker announced his decision during a meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan at Bani Gala, while PML-N leader Nasir Musaizai also jumped ships to Imran’s party.
Moreover, PML-Quaid leader Chaudhry Zahiruddin also announced his arrival during the meeting with Khan. The PTI chief welcomed all three leaders and their supporters to the party.
Earlier today, PTI spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry had said that “PML-N’s disintegration will continue as more party leaders are expected to join PTI.”
On April 7, PML-N MNA Ramesh Kumar jumped ships to PTI, while he also took jabs at his former party for ‘adopting a stance contradictory to his in Panama papers case’.
The ex-PML-N member said that he had also opposed various other party decisions, including the privatisation of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
