Carlo Ancelotti issues positive injury update on first-team duo
Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti confirmed Richarlison and Djibril Sidibe are both in contention to feature against Tottenham Hotspur on Monday after injury worries.
Richarlison picked up a knock in the victory over Leicester City in midweek, leaving the field after less than an hour, but is unlikely to be ruled out any longer.
Sidibe, meanwhile, is in line for his first appearance since March after recovering from a minor injury he picked up shortly before the Merseyside derby in June.
“Richarlison didn't train today but I think he will be able to train tomorrow so he's not going to have a problem to play on Monday,” Ancelotti said in his press conference ahead of the Spurs game.
“I think he will be fine. He has to train tomorrow and Sunday but I think he is recovering well from the knock.”
