Dell’s highly anticipated XPS 15 (9560) laptop is now available from official distributor Drive Control Corporation (DCC). The XPS 15 is packed with the newest Intel Kaby Lake 7th generation processors up to i7 Quad Core and up to 32GB memory which easily powers through intensive tasks.
Regarded as one of the world’s most popular 15-inch laptops, the XPS 15’s form factor is actually closer to 14 inches thanks to Dell’s virtually borderless InfinityEdge display which enables 15.6 inches to be squeezed into a smaller chassis. The XPS 15 is 11-17mm thin and weighs only 1.81kg depending on the laptop option.
The laptop incorporates NVIDIA’s newest Pascal architecture with GeForceGTX 1050 graphics (4GB of GDDR5 memory) and includes ample storage of up to 1TB in solid state drive format.
Furthermore, the Dell XPS 15 is available in UltraSharp 4K Ultra HD from DCC which translates into a display of eight million pixels at 282 PPI (pixels per inch) – this is six million more pixels than FHD (fully high-definition) display.
Comments Heinrich Pretorius, Dell consumer product specialist at DCC: “The Dell XPS 15 has established itself as one of the world’s most sought-after, 15-inch laptops and with good reason. With new XPS 15, Dell builds on its winning formula, offering great features in a beautiful form factor.”
The Dell XPS 15 offers the following additional feature:
Backlit keyboard and precision touchpad. Keys are illuminated for usage in low- and no-light situations;
The XPS is constructed from machined aluminium for strength and durability. It also includes edge-to-edge Corning Gorilla Glass NBT which is bonded to the back for added strength;
Ships with Windows 10 Pro and personal assistant Cortana which uses natural voice interaction thanks to MaxxAudio Pro by Waves;
Thunderbolt 3 that enables up to 8x the transfer speeds of USB 3.0 at up to 40Gbps. Thunderbolt 3 powers up to two 4Kdisplays and supports one-cable docking; and
100% minimum Adobe RGB colour – the display represents all the colours in the
Adobe colour space without compromise.
