The governor has denied a recent story that said he regretted joining the APC.
Sokoto Governor Aminu Tambuwal (Punch) Sokoto state governor, Aminu Tambuwal has dismissed the authenticity of quotes that were recently attributed to him saying he regrets joining the ruling All Progressives' Congress (APC).
The governor had been reported to have said that he regrets joining the party as he was being sidelined by a cabal.
He had allegedly said, "I
am beginning to regret joining APC. As a governor, I knew nothing about
who gets federal appointment in my state. I am seemingly sidelined by
Abuja politicians."
