The Managing Director and Chief
Executive Officer of the Company, Mr. Paul Olagunju , who received the
two awards alongside his winning team from Sunnet, thanked the
organisers of the event for recognising their efforts in the industry.
Olagunju disclosed that Sunnet was
committed towards adding value to the services of its array of clients
that are spread across all sectors of the economy, using innovation and
cutting-edge technology that will help their business grow beyond
bounds.
Speaking on the preparation before the

and efforts towards being the best in service delivery and relationship
with customers, stressing that Sunnet truly deserve the award because it
has always stood unique from its competitors.
The award, which further demonstrates
its passion for technological innovation, creativity and desire to
always put her customers first by offering excellence services, puts the
brand ahead of others.
According to him, Sunnet is an
internationally recognised Information Communication Technology (ICT)
service provider that develops integrated, state of the art software
solutions and products that are uniquely designed to enhance the growth
of businesses in all economic spheres.
He noted that the award, which is result
of hard work by the diligent team at Sunnet, is a motivation to work
harder, saying that over the years, it has evolved into an IT Powerhouse
with a focus of enabling businesses through the strategic partnerships
with world class organisations.
He added that while not resting on its
oars, the bottom line for the brand is the enhancement of African
business growth through its uniquely designed products and services.
“Currently Sunnet is fully operational
in Lagos, Abuja, Port-Harcourt, Accra and Ghana. The company has
successfully deployed its services in Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone,
Liberia, Benin, Lome, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Burundi, Cameroon and
Congo and the award is a call to look forward to expanding to the other
parts of Africa and beyond,” Olagunju said.
He called for respite for telecos in the
area of multiple taxation, adding that there should be synergy between
all organs of government on its taxation implementation policy.
He noted that multiple taxation remained
a high element cost that prevents companies from achieving its full
potentials as well as a strain on re-investment adding that government
should urgently address the challenge to further enhance the growth of
the ICT industry.
