Newcastle confirm appointment of Graeme Jones as club's THIRD assistant manager to help support boss Steve Bruce after a torrid run of six straight defeats

Newcastle have confirmed the appointment of Graeme Jones as Steve Bruce's third assistant manager.

Sportsmail revealed last week that Newcastle were in talks with Jones, who had been a coach at Bournemouth, to help under-fire Bruce, who has overseen a run of six straight defeats. 

Newcastle were granted permission to speak with Jones last week and have paid £250,000 in compensation to bring him to St James' Park.
