Shootings in Osun: Sawmill worker, 10-year-old girl killed





 The Police Command in Osun on Wednesday affirmed the killing of a 10-year-old young lady by suspected criminals on cruiser at Ilerin, along Ilesa-Iperindo Road. 


The comnand's Spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola, said in an articulation that the suspected punks took shots at the young lady, her mom and another youngster while on a cruiser. 


Opalola said, "because of the shooting, them three on the cruiser supported wounds, yet the young lady kicked the bucket while in transit to the Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital (OAUTECH), Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa." 


She said the young lady's body had been saved at the morgue, while her harmed mother and the other youngster were conceded at a similar clinic. 


Opalola said that police had heightened endeavors to capture the presumed lawbreakers, who executed the wrongdoing. 


Also, there was taking shots at Irojo space of Ilesa on Wednesday. 


The episode killed one Olorunwa, a sawmill specialist, who was hit by stray slugs from some speculated religion individuals. 


NAN additionally reports that over the course of about five days (Saturday to Wednesday), suspected cultists/punks related shootings were recorded in Osun, with two passings each recorded in Osogbo and Ilesa.
